2일 영화진흥위원회 영화관입장권 통합전산망 집계결과에 따르면, 지난 1일 시네마틱 블록버스터 <오디세이>는 11만 3418명의 관객을 동원하며 누적 관객수 912만 4236명으로 박스오피스 1위를 기록했다.  

<오디세이>에 이어 박스오피스 2위는 액션 블록버스터 <스파이더맨: 브랜드 뉴 데이>(859만 9914명)가, 3위는 이정은·공효진·박소담·이연 주연 <경주기행>(22만 5749명)이, 4위는 공룡 어드벤처 <오크 스트리트의 마지막 날>(11만 9410명)이, 5위는 공포 스릴러 <인시디어스: 그들이 넘어왔다>(15만 4460명)가 차지했다.

뒤이어 <명탐정 코난: 하이웨이의 타천사>, <도그 스타: 마지막 희망>, <오케이 마담2>, <사랑의 하츄핑: 고래보석의 전설>, <호프> 등이 박스오피스 10위권에 이름을 올렸다.

한편, 맷 데이먼, 톰 홀랜드, 앤 해서웨이, 로버트 패틴슨, 젠데이아, 샤를리즈 테론 등이 출연한 <오디세이>(감독 크리스토퍼 놀란)는 트로이 전쟁을 승리로 이끈 영웅 ‘오디세우스’가 집으로 돌아가기 위해 신들의 분노에 맞서 싸우는 대서사시를 담아낸 시네마틱 블록버스터로, 전국 극장에서 절찬 상영 중이다.

According to the results compiled by the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system on the 2nd, the cinematic blockbuster <Odyssey> attracted 113,418 viewers on the 1st, recording a cumulative audience of 9,124,236 and taking the number one spot at the box office. 

Following *The Odyssey*, the action blockbuster *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* (8,599,914 viewers) took second place at the box office, followed by *A Trip to Gyeongju* (225,749 viewers), starring Lee Jung-eun, Gong Hyo-jin, Park So-dam, and Lee Yeon, in third place; the dinosaur adventure *The Last Days of Oak Street* (119,410 viewers) in fourth place; and the horror thriller *Insidious: They Crossed Over* (154,460 viewers) in fifth.

Subsequently, *Detective Conan: The Fallen Angel on the Highway*, *Dog Star: Last Hope*, *Okay Madam 2*, *Love's Hachuping: Legend of the Whale Jewel*, and *Hope* made it into the top 10 at the box office. 

Meanwhile, *The Odyssey* (directed by Christopher Nolan), starring Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron, is a cinematic blockbuster that captures the epic story of Odysseus, the hero who led the Trojan War to victory, fighting against the wrath of the gods to return home, and is currently showing to great acclaim in theaters nationwide.
