브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 소속사 에이치오이엔티는 14일 "배우 정현지가 '모텔 캘리포니아'를 통해 안방극장에 데뷔한다"고 밝혔다.
MBC 새 금토드라마 '모텔 캘리포니아'(극본 이서윤/연출 김형민, 이재진)는 시골 모텔을 배경으로 모텔에서 태어나 모텔에서 자란 여자 주인공이 12년 전 도망친 고향에서 첫사랑과 재회하며 겪는 우여곡절 첫사랑 리모델링 로맨스 드라마로 이세영, 나인우, 최민수, 김태형, 최희진 등 탄탄한 출연자 라인업을 구성했다.
정현지는 극중 시골 마을에서 디저트 카페를 운영하는 '노인숙' 역을 맡았다. 노인숙은 지강희(이세영 분)와 천연수(나인우 분)의 동창이자 프랑스에 유학을 다녀올 정도로 풍족하게 살았던 과거와 달리 이제는 먹고살기 위해 가게를 운영하는 인물로 현실감 있는 연기로 극에 몰입감을 더할 예정이다.
